2025 Program Updates
The International Law Program will take place for a second year in Kingston and Berlin. In addition to the streams in International Business Law (IBL) and Public International Law (PIL), we are adding a stream in International Environmental Law (IEL). Information about the courses and instructors in the new stream will be added to this website soon. From Berlin the students will visit international organizations in Geneva (all 3 streams) and Paris (IBL), The Hague (PIL), or Bonn (IEL). The program will run from May 2 through June 28.
The application form is now available on the Application Procedure page and the link to the bursary application form is now availabie on the Program Fees page. All Queen's and Dalhousie students who apply by November 29th will be offered a place in the program in early December, with their response due in January. Students from other law schools will receive offers in the order of application provided that space in the program is available. (Students who have already submitted applications will be given an opportunity to adjust their preferred stream(s) to include IEL before offers are made.)

There will also be an online session on a date in January to be announced.

Reflecting Queen's Law's commitment to an international perspective in the study of law, the International Law Program is an integrated academic program in international law that runs each May and June. This unique learning opportunity combines an 8-week intensive academic program in international law with field study visits to law firms, international organizations, and international courts. Instructors and guests are prominent figures in international law who bring their practical experience to the classroom. The program offers many networking opportunities, including a career options evening with alumni and friends. Students choose to study either International Business Law or Public International Law.
