Eligibility to Apply
Students registered in a J.D. or LL.B. program at an accredited Canadian or American university are eligible to apply. International law students fluent in English at universities in an exchange partnership with Queen's University and, in some cases, at other universities, may also be eligible to apply. Application Procedures
2025 Application Form: Queen's Law Students
2025 Application Form: Students at Other Law Schools
Queen's Law and Schulich School of Law students who applied by November 29th, 2024 have been offered a place in the program, with their initial responses due January 31st. Offers are made in the order applications are received. Applicants who cannot be made an offer immediately are added to our waiting list. There is usually lots of movement in the winter term, so we hope to be able to make those on the waiting list an offer eventually. However, we would advise any students interested in applying to complete the brief application form as soon as possible.
See the Program Fees page for details about needs-based bursaries, scholarships for Queen's Law students, and provincial student loans. If you apply for a bursary and/or scholarship when you apply to the program, you should know the outcome before you need to accept or decline a place in the program.
