Professor Alyssa King came up with a way for Canada to contribute to global efforts in documenting COVID-19’s effect on justice systems around the world. She launched a “COVID and the Courts” web page to track and archive the different COVID-related changes to court and alternative dispute resolution procedures in each Canadian province and territory.

Recently appointed Associate Dean Art Cockfield, Law’93, oversees academic policies for the JD program and helps plan the school’s responses to the Coronavirus pandemic. “I’m looking forward to finding ways to enhance the Faculty’s relationship with our students via remote technologies,” he says. “I think there is potential to move forward.”
